TurkodiRoma began not in a rehearsal room but on the road.
Founded by two group members six years ago, the project grew out of a nomadic journey across the Mediterranean. Traveling primarily by hitchhiking, sleeping in tents and supporting themselves by selling handmade bracelets and performing in public spaces, they spent years moving between cultures, languages and communities.

Along the way they learned Spanish, Italian and other languages not through classrooms but through everyday conversations, shared meals, temporary homes and life on the road. These experiences became the foundation of TurkodiRoma’s artistic identity.

Rather than committing themselves to a single genre, they developed a concept they call IndieFusion.
