London: White Mahala
Live Room / The Courtyard

White Mahala for the first time in London. On March 29th, White Mahala comes to London for an unforgettable show at 93 Feet East Club. The band White Mahala received its baptism at the opening of the famous Oscar Benton concert at the Palace Hall. With its neo-Romanian musical style, the band is making waves with its most famous songs, “O mie de pahare”, “Canta Mahalaua”, and the songs from the albums “Cocoșelu” and “Inevitabile”. The band’s lead singer is actor Ovidiu Niculescu, known to the public especially for films such as “The Rest is Silence”, “Filantropica” and “Good Boys”. The White Mahala Band is composed of: Ovidiu Niculescu (vocals, guitar), Silviu Enache (solo guitar, vocals), Sorin Ciprian Nicolescu (trumpet), Călin Vama (bass) and Doru Cinca (drums, vocals).

The new album by the band White Mahala, “Inevitabile”, continues and builds on the first album, “Cosoșelul”, which has enjoyed and continues to enjoy real success across all public categories, through hits like “1000 de pahare”, “E drăcoasă mărdra mea” or “Cântă mahalaua”. The new songs maintain the energetic, vibrant style, featuring humorous yet witty lyrics and folk, rock, ethno, alternative, ska, pop, and dance influences. The live concert with the new album, as the guys in the band have accustomed us to, is a party full of uninhibited joy that makes the audience dance, enjoy life, and live passionately and happily every moment of the music.

White Mahala don’t sing; they simply delight you, and that’s why the new album “Inevitabile” is not to be missed.
