Nick Milwright, the former militant, ballet dancer and now front man for Melbourne's BLACKCHORDS, makes Keryn Pointing feel a little under-accomplished. After a successful stint in Europe, the boys of the Blackchords are finally finding their feet back home. Just in time to pack up and head off on their first national tour along the East Coast with fellow indie rockers Sierra Fin and Grand Atlantic ~ an adventure Nick Milwright is looking forward to. Having been touted as being everything from Jeff Buckley reincarnate to a more refined Chris Martin with Radiohead qualities, I daresay Milwright's latest career choice seems to be the right one.
FOLIE ORDINAIRE is a mix of 70's &80's rock, particularly English and New York post punk of the likes of Gang of Four and Talking heads, or German krautrock of Can and Neu!, as well as new and old electro disco from Giorgio Moroder to Lcd soundsystem.
