Arriving in London for the first time, BOOM PAM bring their alcohol-fuelled blend of guitar-led Mediterranean surf and tuba-tastic Balkan Wedding sounds. Having played major festivals around the world as well as front room gigs and the underground scene, and with two albums on Essay Recordings, home to Shantel & The Bucovina Club Orchestra, this Tel Aviv trio led by Uri Kinrot (Balkan Beat Box) know how to get a party going and put a knowing cool back into Greek-style guitar solos and unashamed oompah grooves. Plus London's own GYPSY HILL - funky brassy electro-Balkan-Swing live band/sound system led by 93 Feet East regular DJ Kobayashi and Herbert Newbert. Their work includes remixes from different artist such as Fanfare Ciocarlia, Besh o Drom, and Kocani Orkestar, mixing in electronic beats, scratching and uplifting bass lines.
