SHACKLETONS are now shipping into the docks after a stormy ride through unknown waters. The music has kept them going and the sheer passion to improve is burning inside us... mainly for your pleasure. They play a mixture of folk, country, blues, indie, rock... all their own material and have been dedicated to improving and writing decent tunes.
DISAPPEARERS There is not much written about this London quartet. The songs are band collaborations, based on songs written by main man and ex-F. Lunaire frontman Florian. The Disappearers have made in impact with only two shows to date; one at the Stags Head supporting Good Shoes, and another at Vice's relaunch of the Old Blue Last. Made up of 3 guys, and 1 girl (Gillian) who shares the lead vocals and keys with Florian. There is only one song recorded at the moment. I wont try and describe the music, to be honest I don't think it will do it justice, but do keep an ear out for this band as there is definitely something special there!
After only a handful of shows, SHE SAID RESIST have already been picked up by the BBC 6 music and The Fly magazine as a band worth their salt. Stay close and keep in touch with their busy summer by visiting their myspace.
