BAR OPENS AT 5PM
THE GLASSBAND came up on both sides of the atlantic and displays his transatlantic roots in his music. The soundscapes created are ethereal with a blend of countrified funk. The lyrics are emotive, meaningful and full of depth and drive. After travelling across the Americas he returned to london to dive back into his love of music.
EVY FOR THE KILL are to die for. Guitars crash and burn, drums thunder, bass throbs, all inviting us to bite the apple? Evy: Songs of destruction and redemption in angelic voice. Twisted melodies and killer hooks. And just when you'd given up hope of ever hearing it again, passion. Music for speakers not headphones, they are riduclously confident for such a new band.
THE U WISHES
LION O'BRIEN write songs about love, work, robots, vampires and other aspects of common everyday life. Blending sharp lyrics with infectious melodies and anthemic choruses, Lion O'Brien are striving to forge their own original brand of feel-good music.

IN THE BAR: MUSIC BORN PRESENTS:
ACOUSTIC SESSIONS: KERRY LEATHAM + KAL LAVELLE + JOEL BAILEY + GHOSTS YOU ECHO

7:30PM - 11:00PM

KERRY LEATHAM plays guitar, sings and writes, all three make her exceptionally happy.... She enjoys her own space and spends a lot of her time daydreaming.. 'It always makes me feel slightly uneasy when people ask me what my songs are about. If it's not blindingly obvious, is it not better to interpret from them what you need or want? All of this is being filmed and posted on her new site GUERILLA BUSKER!
KAL LAVELLE has been nominated for an Indy Music Award. Alex Zane played 'Disaster' on his Mars Planets radio show, he said she had a 'beautiful voice'. Nice chap. She's touched the hand of James Brown (having supported him in vicar st venue in dublin). He said she had a lovely voice and he also signed her guitar.
Growing up on a balanced diet of Phil Collins, DJ Luck and Zig n Zag, JOEL BAILEY didn't get the best musical start in life. Despite this early handicap, he decided to start playing the drums when he was about 9, performing in a fancy waistcoat for the school band. Joel has reached the final of the Shure Creative Award, busked on the underground as part of Rythmn of London festival, been featured on BBC london TV and radio, was interviewed by the Evening Standard, reviewed in The Natonal Student Magazine, showcased at Rough Trade, and recorded a demo with acclaimed producer Joe Fields at the EMI studio as part of the 30/30 project at the Roundhouse.
