TNIY ISLANDS
LATER RIVALS This line up formed April 2009, taking very little time for new members Jack Baz (Bass) and Elliott Marks (Drums) to settle. Danny Hudson remained on vocals along with his brother Terry and Freddie Brooks on lead and rhythm guitar respectively. Later Rivals began writing and playing their own material and in June of the same year took to the studio to record their first demo.
FELIX & THE INVISIBLE KIDS Their fiery, explosive shows burst with energy, as each player throws himself around the stage in a manic, fierce joy. Their songs teem with their diverse influences, ranging from the funk of James Brown to the jazz fusion of Mahavishnu Orchestra; the heady progressiveness of The Doors to the hyperactivity of children's TV show Yo Gabba Gabba. Matching witty intelligence to a wide-eyed, passionate love of music these erudite young men make music, which is different. They are Felix & The Invisible Kids. They are not trying to emulate the sounds of their heroes. They are trying to create something new in an era where that is almost impossible. One thing is for certain though. They won't stop until they succeed.
