STARDEATH AND WHITE DWARFS have spent the last few years traversing the galaxy as the road crew for fellow Oklahomans The Flaming Lips. These four young men have gained a collective lifetime's worth of knowledge and experience while inadvertently inhaling enough helium and confetti to power a free-floating circus of their own. As a result of this kind of incubated gestation, a strange yet melodically intoxicating band has emerged. They describe themselves as psych/ prog/ experimental pop quartet.

We'd like you to meet Stardeath And White Dwarfs, and they'd really like to meet you. SDWD have toured with Deerhoof, British Sea Power, Band of Horses, and, of course, The Lips.

SDWD are now sprinkling the final magic dust on their first full-length album, The Birth, recorded with local Oklahoma studio wiz Trent Bell. It's scheduled to collide with earth in 12" vinyl form, with download card for redemption of the full album, on May 19th. The glistening satellite CD and all digital retail forms impact the Solar System on June 2nd.

TAPE THE RADIO we live in our studio on a junkyard next to a creek in deptford. pete the dwarf fixes the ttr wheels and ken the mechanic listens to us through the walls and tells us what's good and bad. we have put all our trust in them. we are tapetheradio.
