HEIKKI SILVENNOINEN is a famous Finnish blues musician with a long musical background which started with a band called "Tabula Rasa" in 1971. In the late 70´s he played together with various Finnish musical icons like Juice Leskinen. In the beginning of the 80´s he formed such bands as Catwalk and Friendz. Qstone in 1986 was the band that introduced Mr. Silvennoinen to a broader audience than ever before in his career.

After a successful career in these acclaimed bands, Heikki felt that he wanted to stretch his musical boundaries, create something that was close to his heart. It was time for his first solo album "Mature And Cool" influenced heavily by such legends as Jimi Hendrix and Cream.

This fortnight the FFTANG! soundsystem consists of live afrobrazilian percussion and Huskiii and Phooey playing back to back afrobeat, cumbia, samba, mambo, calypso, latin, kuduro, kwaito, baile funk, balkan, bhangra, international hiphop and traditional regional music fused with b-boy beats and bastard bass.

Come either to dance or be a tourist from the comfort of the sofas.
